THE RING MAKING PROCESS

Each ring is carefully made from scratch; the wire is cut, shaped and soldered
in open flames, then the firescale (heat coat) is removed. The shape then gets
a final adjustment, before I put it in the tumbler for some hours. It then gets
a final polish - for that extra lustrous shine!

Note that unlike mass produced rings, hand forged rings will have a solder
joint, which is also a proof of their handmade quality and uniqueness. Made
just for you! *The seams will though be hard to see on most rings, due to the
textures, but they are still as unique! :)

RING SIZING

WIDE RINGS & STACKING SETS

Wider bands fit more snugly than narrow bands, so the width of the ring(s)
will affect the size. Generally you would go up 1/4 size for ring band or ring
sets 5-6mm wide, 1/2 size for rings 7-8mm wide and 3/4 size for rings 9-10mm
wide.

SELF MEASUREMENT

The best way to find your true size, is to get measured by a jeweller. If you
decide to go for self measurement though, there are some steps that should be
followed:

If you already have a ring that fits, you can measure the length across the
inside of the ring, and then send me this number! If you do not already have a
ring for the spesific finger, you can measure your finger by using the method
described below:

1) Cut a slim strip of paper, about 10 cm/4 inches long.

2) Attach a piece of transparent tape in one end of the paper strip.

3) Then attach the tape w/paper strip to the finger knuckle, and wrap the
paper strip very tight around, until the paper strip overlap. Draw a precise,
thin mark with a pen. Next, do the same procedure at the base of your finger,
where the ring is going to be. Mark this too. Remember to tighten the paper
strip well, when doing both measurements!

4) Now you have two marks on the paper strip, or eventually one mark, if the
finger knuckle and finger base, have the same thickness. If two separate marks,
mark the middle between these two marks with a pen. Then you must measure the
paper strip until this middle mark with a ruler, write the result down in mm,
and send me the measurement :) Note: If your finger base is wider than your
finger knuckle, you should use the finger base measurement only.

PRECAUTIONS

• You must not exercise prior the measurement, and you should have a normal
hand temperature!
• You should measure your finger multiple times, in order to "know your
finger" and avoid any mistakes.
• Remember to make tight measurements!
• Remember that half millimeters also count!
• This self measurement method is the best measuring option when no ring
sizing equipment is available, and it is accurate when done properly. Please
keep in mind that you as a customer are responsible for ordering the correct
ring size.

JEWELRY FACTS & CARE / 14K Gold Filled (Yellow and Rose)

14K Gold Filled consists of a thick layer of Solid 14K Gold permanently bonded
to a core, which means it will never wear or peel off. This layer of solid gold
is at least 100 times thicker than the gold on plated items. Just like 100%
solid gold rings, it is naturally nickle free, highly tarnish resistant, shower
proof and it can last «forever» with the right wear & care!

Gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, and other such events are much more
meaningful when the piece is meant to last decades! Another such occasion is
when rings are worn on a daily basis. However, in order to keep your gold
filled rings clean, beautiful and shining, the following steps are a must:

1) CHEMICALS ▸Your gold filled rings should always be taken off before / put
on after you put on lotions, SPF or perfume.

2) SALT WATER, CHLORINE & EXERCISE ▸Heavy sweating and other than normal,
clean water can affect your rings, so make sure to take them off upfront!
Taking them off before sleep makes also a great difference over time!

3) SHOWER WITH THEM ▸Gold fill loves water! Clean water is a great way to keep
your rings bright and shiny. Mild soaps are also OK, but avoid the hash ones!

4) PERIODIC DEEP CLEAN ▸Once in a while you should provide your gold filled
rings a nice spa! This means to soak them in water with some mild (dishwash)
soap or baking soda, for å few minutes. After some minutes, a soft toothbrush
can eventually be used to remove dirth in tight places, fex from textures. Dry
thoroughly. For extra shine, buff with a polish cloth (free of chemicals).

5) STORAGE ▸First of all, make sure your rings are completely dry! Then they
should be stored in an airtight jewelry box / container or in a ziplock bag,
together with a little piece of soft cloth.
