A pair of earrings made of gilded metal with an antiqued and hammered finish.
They are half moon shaped and the front sides are embellished with a polished
edge and a zigzag edge, surrounding an oval with a nailed rim and an enameled
centre, which is amber colored with a sandy effect. The back sides are slightly
hollow and have a textured, striped antiqued finish. The earrings have clips in
good working condition. Also on each backside signed in an oval raised
cartouche “ Trifari ©”, dating these pieces of costume jewelry to the
1970s/1980s. Nicely decorated in an ethnic style, popular in the 1970s.
