Vintage 12K Gold Filled & Natural Cognac Baltic Amber Screw-Back Earrings

Beautiful 12K gold filled earrings featuring faceted cognac amber dangles!
Great condition with very little sign of wear. Backs are stamped 1/20th 12K GF.
These could easily be converted for pierced ears using a french wire, if
desired.

Unlike gold-plated jewelry, gold filled jewelry contains a 1/20th layer of
gold. This works out to about 5-7% real gold. Gold plated jewelry is generally
between 1/100th and 1/200th real gold. Gold filled jewelry can retain its
finish for several lifetimes and is an affordable alternative to solid gold
pieces.
