Vintage Silver Earrings with Twisted Silver Band Screw On and Green Stone, Likely Malachite or Jade

This item is a pair of vintage silver earrings with a green square stone with
twisted silver bands over the stone and silver domes on the side.

They look like they may have been made in Mexico. While I'm not sure what
exactly the green stone is, similar earrings have referred to it as malachite
or jade. I've also seen similar stones referred to as green onyx or chrysoprase.

These earrings have screw on backs and are marked " silver metal". They
measure 0.65 inches tall by 0.5 inches wide and weigh 0.2 oz.

These earrings are in good condition, with some wear on the "silver metal"
stamp on one earring. There is a marking on the back of the screw back post,
likely indicative of a particular maker or workshop.
